Well guys, my Python Plays Minecraft series turned 1 year old a couple of days ago and by God, the progress we have made in 65 episodes and the things we have built in that world has been absolutely insane! The first episode went out on the 16th May 2014. For the sake of nostalgia, I've embedded the first video below for you guys!
One FAQ I've been getting recently is "Will you start a new season/world when 1.9 comes out?" - Currently, the answer to that is "No". I will be playing the 1.9 snapshots of course but as far as I know, there isn't a great deal of terrain generation changes yet. The ONLY reason I'd start a new world is because there's a large amount of terrain changes that require you to start a new world. Even then, starting a new world for my series is a huge, HUGE undertaking! I love my current Python Plays Minecraft world so much! There's so many awesome memories we've created along the way and I'm not prepared to say goodbye to it yet! :D
So then! Some plans for new projects and general updates on the series...
- Guardian Farm (Current - In Progress)
- Villager Island (In Progress)
- Neptune's Empire (In Progress)
- Fully self-sustainable Nether Village (Upcoming)
- Fully self-sustainable End Village (Upcoming)
- The 4-Portals Project (Upcoming)
- ...And whatever else my brain can come up with! :D
I would, of course, like to thank those of you who have supported and stuck by the series for all this time. You guys are amazing and not a day goes by where I don't appreciate you guys! :)
